A Pokemon booster pack, a fat pack, and a sealed Elite Trainer Box are three different sizes. Add Panini sports card packs, Magic The Gathering, One Piece, and Lorcana and one machine is now holding six different pack sizes.
A snack or drink slot cannot hold all of that. Packs jam. ETBs do not fit. A high-value box sits behind the same lock as a candy bar. That is why custom trading card vending machines are their own category and not a snack machine with new labels.
A custom trading card vending machine from VMFS is built around the products you actually stock. Slot widths and depths are set during the build call, for your formats. A machine holding mostly standard packs is built differently to one holding ETBs and fat packs.
Sports cards work the same way. Our sports card vending machines support panini cards straight from the slot, and Panini America ships in a few retail formats that each need their own slot depth. Panini football cards and panini nfl cards arrive as blaster boxes and hanger packs. Panini basketball cards use the same formats. The machine vends panini trading cards from the Prizm, Select, Donruss, and Score lines, and Topps, Bowman, and Upper Deck retail packs run in the same slot classes. Tell us which panini sports cards you plan to stock and the slots are cut for them.
Most operators run a mix. Pokemon in the main slots. Panini sports cards, Magic, or One Piece in the rest. Each format gets a slot sized for it. Each slot gets its own price, so a $4 pack and a $60 box can sit in the same machine.
How the machine hands over the product also matters. The slim wall TCG card vending machine is our standard coil build. It handles small sealed packs: booster packs, blisters, and retail card packs. That is most of what card shops sell.
Bigger sealed product is different. An Elite Trainer Box, a booster box, or a Panini blaster is heavier, and collectors buy sealed product on condition. A drop that does nothing to a $4 pack can dent a corner and cost you a $200 sale. Elevator configurations solve this. The item is lowered to the door instead of dropped. If premium boxes are a real part of your mix, ask about that build.
Where the machine goes changes the build. A machine in your own shop is not the same as one going to a three-day show floor, or a mall kiosk with a younger crowd. Higher value product gets a higher security tier. Payment options are set to suit the location.
The outside is yours as well. Custom wrapped pokemon card vending machines can carry your shop branding, a set launch graphic for a show, or a location partner's branding on a revenue share placement.
