A coin-only box and a configured VMFS laundry system are not the same business
The VMFS laundry system is built around three things that determine whether a laundry supply operation earns consistently or sits stocked with the wrong products in a machine nobody can use because it only accepts quarters. First, the product mix is configured for your specific location: pods, liquid packs, dryer sheets, fabric softener, stain sticks, and any other supply your audience needs. Second, cashless payment is standard, because the customer who needed detergent and does not have quarters has money on their card. Third, the cloud dashboard monitors every slot and alerts you before a product runs out. A laundry detergent vending machine built this way is not competing with a supermarket, it is the only source available at the exact moment of need.
The captive audience is the second opportunity. A laundromat or hotel laundry customer has 45 to 90 minutes of waiting time, one of the longest captive dwell windows in any vending environment. A machine that includes snacks, cold drinks, water, and personal care alongside laundry supplies earns on two categories from the same customer visit. A purely detergent-focused machine leaves that entirely uncaptured.
