ROI Calculator

Run Your Own Numbers

No revenue promises on this page. Your placement decides.

We are not putting a monthly revenue figure on this page, because it depends on your placement and your beverage mix. A 240 capacity drink machine on a manufacturing floor and one in a small office are not the same business.

The calculator takes your product cost, your retail prices and your expected daily sales, then works out the return against the machine cost and its running costs.

Operating Fees

What This Machine Costs Monthly to Operate

Recurring costs only. No platform fee from VMFS on this machine.

This is a traditional machine rather than an AI unit, so the running costs stay simple.

Card Processing

  • Monthly service fee on the card reader, from your payment provider
  • Per transaction processing on card sales
  • Both are charged by the provider, not by VMFS

Cash Handling

  • No recurring fee, but budget the time
  • Float management, coin tube refills and bank runs are the real cost of cash

Power

  • 3.0 amps running draw at 380 watts
  • Energy saving mode cuts that further on scheduled hours

Add only the payment hardware a location needs. A cash-only site does not need a reader, and a card-only site does not need a coin mech.

Location Backup Plan

Some Placements Underperform. The Machine Is Not Stuck There.

If a spot does not earn, the machine moves.

A 240 capacity beverage machine in a low traffic spot is a lot of cabinet standing still. The strongest drink placements have steady daily demand from the same people rather than one-off passing traffic.

If a placement underperforms, the machine moves. What changes with it is the beverage mix and the pricing, since a gym and an office buy differently, and both are programmable at the keypad rather than requiring a parts change.

One thing to plan for: unload the machine before transporting it, and never tilt it more than 20 degrees, because the compressor oils need to settle. After a move, leave it standing before you plug it in.

Cash counters by selection usually show within a month whether the problem was the location or the product mix. Talk to us before you write a placement off, and VPlaced can help find the next one.

Starter Planograms

What to Stock on Day One

Then adjust from the sales data.

Office and Break Room

  • Weight the top two trays toward standard soda in 12 oz cans and 20 oz bottles, since they carry the volume
  • Give one tray to bottled water, one to juice and iced tea, and one to sparkling and flavored water

Gym and Fitness

  • Lead with sports drinks and bottled water, then give a full tray to energy drinks across 8.3 oz, 12 oz and 16 oz cans
  • Link two water selections with Space to Sales, because water is what goes sold out first

Manufacturing and Warehouse

  • Energy drinks and full-size sodas run hardest on shift changes
  • Keep water on at least two selections and link them, since a hot floor drinks more of it than any planogram predicts

Then Adjust

  • Every selection is operator defined and priced individually
  • Cash counters report by selection, so you can see exactly which slot earns and rotate at each restock. Your second planogram will beat your first

Before It Lands

  • At 625 lbs and 39 in wide, measure the doorway and the path to the final spot
  • Leave at least 6 in behind the machine for condenser airflow
  • Indoor placement only, between 50°F and 90°F, humidity at or below 45%
  • The unit arrives on a protective skid. Door protectors and skid feet come off with a Phillips screwdriver, then the leg levelers set with a 7/16 in wrench

Keep the original packaging through the warranty period. If the machine ever has to go back for repair, you would otherwise have to buy it.

Warranty

1 Year Manufacturer Parts Warranty

From the date of shipment.

Covers defects in material and factory workmanship on the cabinet, the R-290 refrigeration system, the coil delivery, the display, the keypad and the machine controller.

Not covered: lighting components, refrigerant, glass, paint, decals, fuses and filters, along with labor and installation. Damage from improper power supply, abuse, vandalism, unauthorized service or a missed maintenance schedule is also excluded, so the condenser cleaning every two weeks is worth putting on the route sheet.

Parts are held in a US warehouse rather than ordered in when something is needed. On a beverage machine the parts that fail first are motors and coils, and both are stocked.

Lifetime Support

US Based, and Free for as Long as You Own the Machine

Technical support does not expire with the warranty.

Call in year one or in year six and you reach the same US team, with a direct contact rather than a ticket queue.

Programming is where most operators want help first, and this machine has more of it than most: pricing per selection, timed discounts, Space to Sales links, shutdown intervals, energy saving schedules and the vend sensor sensitivity. Operator training and a programming walkthrough come with every ENV5B rather than being sold separately, because a machine set up properly once is a machine you are not driving back to.

Reporting

What the Machine Tells You, and How You Get It

Counters, DEX and diagnostics built in.

Built-In Reporting

  • Cash counters by whole machine, by row and by individual selection
  • Historical count, cash total and card total, each resettable independently
  • DEX supported, including short DEX and reset on read
  • Motor count diagnostics that pinpoint a failing selection before it costs you sales
  • Error log covering vend sensor, refrigeration sensor, coin mech, bill validator and card reader faults

For operators running more than one machine, VMFS Cloud brings the route into a single dashboard.

Customize It

Set Before the Machine Ships

Options fitted at order, not bolted on later.

  • Additional tray, taking selections from 40 to 48
  • Motor pairing for oversized product, with the coil and rail change it needs
  • Payment hardware: coin and bill acceptor, card reader
  • Media screen
  • Front skirt
  • Custom wrap, partial or full

Multi-unit deployments run through the same process, and bundle pricing applies automatically from two machines up.

Case Studies

Three Placements, Three Different Reasons the Machine Earns

Office, gym, campus.

Corporate Office and Break Room

Beverage demand runs steady through every workday rather than spiking, which suits a 240 capacity machine. At moderate volume the cabinet covers a full week between restocks, and the energy saving schedule drops the machine into standby over the weekend.

Gym and Fitness Center

Energy drinks, sports drinks, sparkling water and bottled water all sell from one cabinet because the trays take slim cans and 20 oz bottles side by side. Space to Sales keeps the fast movers from going sold out mid-week.

School or Campus

The Braille backlit keypad and ADA compliant cabinet meet the accessibility standard these buyers have to satisfy. Calorie display per selection and timed shutdown intervals handle the nutrition and access rules that come with the placement.

Manual

Read It Before You Buy, Not After

The full EnVision operator manual, published up front.

Setup, programming, tray loading, pricing, vend sensor configuration, refrigeration maintenance and troubleshooting, including the error code table. We publish it up front because you should know how much work the machine is before you own one.

Placements

Where a Full-Size Beverage Vending Machine Earns

Steady demand, indoor, climate controlled.

The ENV5B earns where steady beverage demand and multi-day capacity justify a full-size refrigerated cabinet. It is an indoor machine, so a covered, climate controlled space is the first requirement.

  • Offices and corporate break rooms · Steady weekday demand, and 240 capacity covers a full week at moderate volume
  • Gyms and fitness centers · Energy, sports drinks and water from one set of trays
  • Schools and universities · ADA compliant with a Braille keypad, calorie display and timed shutdown
  • Healthcare facilities · Round-the-clock beverage access for staff, visitors and patients
  • Manufacturing and warehouses · Shift demand at all hours, with continuous operation
  • Hotels and hospitality · Guest access in lobbies and on service floors

VPlaced evaluates each placement and structures the vendor agreement before the machine ships, and VAdviced handles compliance documentation, which matters most in schools and healthcare.

Built for the route, not the showroom

What the Seaga ENV5B does that a basic drink machine does not

Every can and bottle size, same trays

Cans and bottles from 8.3 oz through 20 oz load into the same beverage trays with no accessory kits and no columns to convert. Slim energy cans sit beside 20 oz bottles. When your product mix changes, the machine follows it instead of forcing a parts order.

Tool-free restocking

Push down the release latch on the right of any tray, slide it forward, load front to back, lift and push it home. No tools, no removed panels, no service call. On a route touching several machines a day, the minutes add up faster than anything else on this spec sheet.

Vigilant vend sensor

Infrared beams cross the delivery bin. If a product breaks the beam, the vend is confirmed. If nothing does, the coil advances in quarter turns until something delivers, or the customer is offered another selection or their money back.

Space to Sales

Link two or more selections and the machine draws from them in turn, so your fastest seller pulls from multiple columns and rotates first in, first out. A best-selling water stops going sold out halfway through the week.

R-290 refrigeration on a modular deck

A self-contained R-290 system, HFC and CFC free, on a deck that slides out for service rather than being buried in the cabinet. Factory set point is 43°F, adjustable, set to NAMA guidance for product safety.

Energy saving mode

Schedule a warmer storage temperature and lights off for the hours nobody is there. An office that is empty from 7pm Friday to 6am Monday does not need to be cooled to selling temperature the whole weekend.

Timed pricing and shutdown

Up to four discount intervals by day and time, plus four shutdown intervals by machine, row or selection. A school can price differently at lunch, and a site with rules about when drinks sell can enforce them at the machine.

Braille backlit keypad, ADA compliant

The EnVision cabinet is built to US ADA standards for vending equipment with a Braille backlit keypad. On a school, hospital or government placement this moves from a nice feature to a requirement.

FAQs

What is the Seaga ENV5B?

A full-size refrigerated beverage merchandiser from the Seaga EnVision line, built for consistent, high-volume drink vending. It runs 40 selections across five beverage trays, expandable to 48 with an additional tray, holding 240 bottles and cans, with R-290 refrigeration and the Vigilant vend sensor.

How many drinks does it hold?

240 bottles and cans across 40 selections. At moderate volume that covers a full week between restocks, and multi-day demand at busy placements. Adding the sixth tray takes it to 48 selections.

What can and bottle sizes does it take?

Cans and bottles of varying sizes from 8.3 oz through 20 oz, all from the same beverage trays with no accessory kits. Slim energy cans, 12 oz and 16 oz cans, 16.9 oz and 20 oz bottles all load side by side. For unusually wide product, motor pairing runs two adjacent motors together with a coil and rail change.

How hard is it to restock?

Tool free. Push down the release latch on the right side of a tray, slide it forward, load each column front to back with no gaps, then lift the front and push it home. One tray at a time, because the machine can tip if you pull more.

What refrigeration does it use?

A self-contained R-290 system with a 2.65 oz charge, HFC and CFC free, on a modular deck that slides out for service. The factory set point is 43°F, adjustable, set to NAMA guidance. The condenser needs cleaning about every two weeks, more often in dusty locations, and the machine needs 6 inches of clearance behind it for airflow.

What payment methods does it support?

The machine is MDB throughout and supports a coin changer, a bill validator and up to two card readers. Payment hardware is ordered separately, so you fit the setup each location actually needs. Pricing is programmable from $0.01 to $99.99 per selection, by row or across the whole machine, with up to four timed discount intervals by day and time. See the VMFS payment system documentation.

What happens if a drink fails to vend?

The Vigilant vend sensor runs infrared beams across the delivery bin. If a product breaks the beam, the vend is confirmed. If not, the coil advances in quarter turns until something delivers. If a full revolution passes with nothing, the customer is asked to make another selection or press coin return for a refund. Auto reinstate can bring the selection back automatically rather than leaving it dead until your next visit.

Is it accessible?

Yes. The EnVision cabinet is compliant with US ADA standards for vending equipment and the keypad is Braille and backlit. Calorie values can be programmed per selection and display on vend, which matters for school and healthcare placements.

What are the dimensions, weight and power?

72 inches tall, 39 inches wide, 37 inches deep, at 625 lbs and 9.75 square feet of floor space. It draws 3.0 amps at 380 watts running, and needs one 115 VAC grounded outlet on a 12 amp circuit at 60 Hz. Indoor placement only, between 50°F and 90°F with humidity at or below 45%.

Can I schedule pricing or shut it down at certain hours?

Yes to both. Up to four discount intervals by day and time change pricing automatically, and up to four shutdown intervals can disable the whole machine, a row or a single selection on a schedule. Energy saving mode can raise the storage temperature and cut the lights on scheduled hours as well.

How long does it take to ship?

In stock units ship within 7 to 21 days. Custom builds take 6 to 12 weeks and up depending on customization and the number of units, and a custom wrap adds about a week. We confirm the window during quoting.

What warranty and support come with it?

A 1 year manufacturer parts warranty from the date of shipment, plus free US technical support for as long as you own the machine. Lighting components, refrigerant, glass, paint, decals, fuses, filters, labor and installation are outside the warranty, and the maintenance schedule in the manual has to be followed to keep it valid.

What other beverage machines does VMFS carry?

The Seaga Prosper PR2218 for a different beverage profile, the Seaga QB2200 for a snack and soda combo, the Seaga QuickBreak QB4000 for high-capacity combo placements, the Water Bottle Vending Machine for dedicated hydration, and the Smart Elevator Vending Machine where premium or glass bottles need gentle delivery.
